Japanese Tea Tasting with Contemporary Ceramics 16/07/2019

Taste of loose-leaf tea, plus a special sale of limited handmade teacups from five Japanese ceramists.

“To mark the final week of Connections, our exhibition featuring Japanese makers – and to celebrate the Japanese-British ritual of tea – we’re partnering with Camilla Tea House London to host a tea tasting”

We went with Tamerlan, Ali and Sveta. This was a very fun and unique experience. We tried great teas, talked to some Japanese ladies about ceramics and culture.

The entire day turned out to be amazing. The weather was very nice. We walked there from home, and encountered this massive Picacu on the way –

Then we tried some extremely unusual ice cream, because we were in the mood for it and found this new ice cream shop by the tea place –
