Trip to Cambridge with my dear friend Armand and mentor (AVN). This trip was on AVN’s personal invitation and for the grand opening of the Cambridge Central Mosque – Europe’s first Eco-Friendly Mosque! I helped to translate for AVN the man himself, chairman of the European Muslim Forum.
Notable guests – among many prominent religious figures from across the UK and the Muslim world, perhaps the most famous of them all was Erdogan – president of Turkey. I managed to take a picture with both myself and the president in the frame. We sat quite close to him, and AVN even took a picture with the man himself at the end of the day!
